  • 6 tablespoons margarine (or butter)
  • 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (natural blue cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons minced yellow onions

How to Make

  • Step 1: Remove mushroom stems, and chop enough stems to measure 1/2 cup.

  • Step 2: Cook half of mushroom caps in 3 tablespoons margarine over medium heat for 5 minutes.

  • Step 3: Drain on paper towels.

  • Step 4: Repeat with other half of mushrooms.

  • Step 5: Combine cream cheese and blue cheese.

  • Step 6: Mix until well blended.

  • Step 7: Stir in chopped stems and onions.

  • Step 8: Fill each mushroom cap with cheese mixture.

  • Step 9: Place caps on cookie sheet.

  • Step 10: Broil until golden brown and cheese is soft.
