  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup mixed candied peel, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 teaspoons celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan combine vinegar, water, white and brown sugar, lemon juice and salt

  • Step 4: Place in clean sterilized jars, store in fridge for up to 10 days or place in freezer
