Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more)
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (or more)
  • Salt and peppr
  • 36 medium shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined (all shrimp must be patted dry with paper towels)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in garlic. Cook 1 minute. Add the flour and cayenne pepper, and cook briefly until the mixture looks sandy. Do NOT let it brown.

  • Step 2: Whisk in light cream and whipping cream. Stir until the mixture forms a thick sauce. Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Stir in the shrimp. Cook just until heated through. Serve over cooked linguine, with additional Parmesan cheese.
