Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups medium noodles (approx 4 ounce)
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato juice (I use V-8 juice)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown beef, onion, garlic and salt (add a little oil if you find you need it - I normally don't)

  • Step 2: Add noddles.

  • Step 3: Combine tomato juice/V-8 juice, Worchestershire sauce, celery salt, salt, pepper, broth and water in a bowl and stir. Pour mixture over beef and noodles.

  • Step 4: Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes (or until noodles are cooked to your liking).

  • Step 5: Stir in mushrooms and sour cream and heat through. Serve.

  • Step 6: Note: I always do this in my electric skillet.
