  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 28 rolo chocolates (4- 42 gram packages)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, salt and baking soda; set aside. Cream the butter; add sugar and mix well.

  • Step 3: Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.

  • Step 4: Slowly stir the flour mixture into the creamed butter mixture, a bit at a time.

  • Step 5: Flatten 1 tablespoon of dough at time and wrap around a Rolo chocolate.

  • Step 6: Roll into a ball and place one inch apart from each other onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

  • Step 7: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until bottom of cookie begins to brown.

  • Step 8: Remove from oven and place the baking sheet on a cooling rack.

  • Step 9: Cool completely before serving.

  • Step 10: Enjoy.
