Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 2 pounds confectioners sugar
  • 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons orange extract
  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut (coarsely chop the stands if they are very long)
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sift the confectioners sugar over a large bowl (this will remove all small lumps).

  • Step 2: In a small saucepan combine the condensed milk with butter; cook stirring over low heat until the butter is melted; pour the mixture over the confectioners sugar, along with the orange extract, then whisk/beat until smooth and combined. Mix in the coconut --- If you find the mixture is too soft for rolling then chill until firmer.

  • Step 3: Roll into about 1-inch balls, then place onto wax paper-lined baking sheets or plates. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm and cold.

  • Step 4: In the microwave melt both chocolates with shortening, removing and stirring until melted and smooth. Dip the cold balls into the chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper and allow to stand until set
