We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, ground nuts, 5-spice powder, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

  • Step 3: In another bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars until light and smooth; next add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat well.

  • Step 4: Add flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat until blended.

  • Step 5: Drop by mounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets(I use a mini meatball scoop);these do spread some while baking, so be sure to leave a big enough space between each, about a 1 1/2" gap between each mound of batter.

  • Step 6: Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until done to your liking. Cool on wire racks.

  • Step 7: Makes approximately 3 dozen.
