Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound fresh jumbo shrimp (10--12), uncooked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, unseasoned
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 medium lemon, cut in wedges

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact.

  • Step 3: Mix together olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper in a bowl. Add shrimp and toss lightly to coat.

  • Step 4: Refrigerate 30-60 minutes.

  • Step 5: In a dish, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.

  • Step 6: Place each shrimp in bread crumb mixture, then turn them to lightly coat both sides.

  • Step 7: Arrange shrimp so that they aren't touching each other, in a ungreased 9x13 inch pan.

  • Step 8: Drizzle evenly with melted butter.

  • Step 9: Place the pan on the center rack of oven, and bake for 10 minutes, or until done.

  • Step 10: Serve immediately with lemon wedges to squirt over the tops of the shrimp.
