  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 small bananas, peeled and mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

  • Step 2: Sift flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together in mixing bowl and set aside.

  • Step 3: Cream shortening and butter with sugars in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

  • Step 4: Mix in mashed bananas. Add flour mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Step 5: Drop by small spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges start to brown.
