  • 1 (28 or 29 ounce) can of pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 (10 ounce) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 (18 ounce) box of yellow OR spice cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup melted butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl mix pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar cinnamon and vanilla until completely combined. Pour in 9×13 baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin. Sprinkle pecans over dry cake mix. Pour butter evenly over pecans. Bake at 350* for 50 min

  • Step 2: Bake at 350 degrees preheated oven for 50 minutes.
