Step 1: Whisk sugar and pudding mix together with one cup of cold milk until thoroughly mixed.
Step 2: When all of the lumps are dissolved, add remainder of milk and whisk it until it is a uniform color.
Step 3: Divide the liquid mixture into six 12 ounce plastic cups filling each cup about half way giver or take.
Step 4: Place cups in freezer and freeze for about 5 hours.
Step 5: At the end of the 5 hours, remove them and use an ice cream scoop to scoop out 1/2 of the semi-frozen pudding mixture from each cup one at a time and place the scoop in a bowl.
Step 6: Scoop out a scoop of vanilla ice cream and place it into the cup where the pudding mix was scooped out of and press it down into the cup.
Step 7: Then take the pudding mixture that was scooped out and place it back in the cup on top of the vanilla ice cream.
Step 8: Next take another scoop of vanilla ice cream and place it on top of the frozen pudding mixture.
Step 9: Do the same with each plastic cup.
Step 10: Each cup should be layered with pudding mixture, ice cream, pudding mixture and ice cream creating a parfait.
Step 11: Cover cups with foil and place them back in the freezer and freeze for an additional 4 hours.
Step 12: Garnish with whip cream and enjoy!
