The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound string beans (fresh tender string beans, trimmed)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • Cayenne pepper, amount to your liking
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, panko
  • 1 to 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil, for frying the beans

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash string beans. Dry COMPLETELY with a towel.

  • Step 2: Place the panko in a bowl. Place the egg into a bowl. Place the flour, salt and garlic powder, pepper and cayenne into a bowl.

  • Step 3: Heat oil on medium heat in a skillet.

  • Step 4: Toss the string beans in the flour to coat. Dip the string beans into flour mixture and then into the panko crumbs.

  • Step 5: Fry until golden brown.
