Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef, lean
  • 2 tablespoons oil (or butter)
  • 1 onion, small, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced (finely minced or 2 teaspoons garlic powder)
  • 6 ounces mushrooms, sliced (canned, drained)
  • 10 3/4 ounce condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup whole milk (any amount you want)
  • Salt & pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat 2 tablespoons oil or butter. Add onions & mushrooms on medium heat, cover, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • Step 2: Cook ground beef and garlic over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 10 minutes. Drain.

  • Step 3: Add the vegetables back to skillet with cream of mushroom soup and milk; Simmer uncovered for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper.
