The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 4 large garlic cloves, minced (or 3 teaspoons garlic powder)
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 to 3 cups Pace Picante sauce (I used about half 650 ml jar medium heat)

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups small cooked pasta of choice
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a Dutch oven or 4-quart saucepan, cook the ground beef with bell pepper until browned (about 12-14 minutes, meat should be well browned). Add in garlic and next 4 spices the last 2 minutes of cooking.

  • Step 2: Add in Picante sauce and milk/cornstarch mixture; bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour uncovered stirring frequently (the liquid should be reduced by almost half). Mix in 2 cups cheddar cheese and cooked pasta the last 8-10 minutes of cooking time; heat through. Season with more salt and pepper if needed.
