Step 1: Grease a 9-inch square cake pan.
Step 2: In a sauce pan combine 1/2 butter, white sugar, cocoa, 1 egg and vanilla.
Step 3: Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, until smooth and slightly thickened.
Step 4: Stir in the graham crumbs, coconut and walnuts and press into prepared pan.
Step 5: Cream 1/4 cup of the butter and gradually beat in powdered sugar and 1 egg. (This is where you can add different flavouring and food coloring if you like).
Step 6: Spread over crumb mixture and chill for about 15 minutes.
Step 7: Melt the chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter together in a double broiler or in a microwave, being careful not to burn.
Step 8: Spread on top.
Step 9: Chill until set.
Step 10: Cut into squares with a sharp knife.
