The ingredients are:
  • FOR GELATIN MIXTURE
  • 2 envelopes (1/4 ounce) unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup Kahlua liqueur
  • 3 cups brewed coffee (hot decaffeinated coffee)
  • 6 packets (1 gram) Stevia (or 1/4 cup granulated sugar)
  • Salt, 1 pinch
  • FOE WHIPPED CREAM
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Kahlua liqueur
  • Garnish
  • 8 teaspoons mini chocolate chips (or 1 ounce shaved semi-sweet chocolate)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine gelatin and Kahlua in a large bowl. Allow gelatin to soften about 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, brew 3 cups hot coffee.

  • Step 3: Add coffee, Stevia, and salt to gelatin mixture. Stir until Stevia is dissolved and mixture is clear.

  • Step 4: Pour into martini glasses or dessert dishes. Chill until set.

  • Step 5: When ready to serve (or up to 3 hours before serving), prepare whipped cream. In a chilled bowl, add whipping cream, powdered sugar, and Kahlua. Beat on low until ingredients are combined. Then increase speed to high and beat until soft peaks form.

  • Step 6: Top each dessert with 2 tablespoons whipped cream and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of chocolate chips.
