Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound unsalted butter, softened (1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon thyme leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sage leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Italian parsley leaves, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place butter in the bowl of a stand up mixer with paddle and mix on low speed until very soft and smooth. Add salt and herbs and mix well to blend

  • Step 2: Remove butter from bowl and spoon onto parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll into a tight log and chill for at least 2 hours. .

  • Step 3: Slice into 1 tablespoon sized portions and refrigerate or freeze.
