Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Penzey's Ranch Dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon Penzey's Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 tablespoon Penzey's Chip and Dip mix
  • 1 pound spiral, tri-color rotini, cooked al dente and cooled or chilled (colored pasta is very appetizing)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 pound asparagus, steamed to tender crisp
  • 2 cups ham, diced
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 small head Romaine lettuce
  • 1 avocado (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: For the dressing, combine the first 5 ingredients and chill.

  • Step 2: Cut ham, asparagus, avocado (if using) and cucumber into chunks. Tear the lettuce into pieces

  • Step 3: Assemble in a large salad bowl combining ham, asparagus, cucumber, and pasta.

  • Step 4: Top with dressing and avocado and gently toss.

  • Step 5: Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
