Step 1: For the dressing, combine the first 5 ingredients and chill.
Step 2: Cut ham, asparagus, avocado (if using) and cucumber into chunks. Tear the lettuce into pieces
Step 3: Assemble in a large salad bowl combining ham, asparagus, cucumber, and pasta.
Step 4: Top with dressing and avocado and gently toss.
Step 5: Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
