The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound cooked/grilled beef steaks, cooled slightly then sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cups mushrooms, halved
  • 1 minced clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 (6 ounce) bag baby spinach
  • 1 thinly sliced red onions
  • Creamy Horseradish Dressing:
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 to 8 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Creamy Horseradish Dressing: In bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, milk, horseradish, garlic, salt and pepper (I would start with 6 tablespoons horserashish then adjust to you liking, can make ahead and chill).

  • Step 2: In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute mushrooms, 1 clove minced garlic and thyme until no liquid remains and mushrooms are golden, about 5 minutes. Season as you desire with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Divide spinach among 4 plates. Divide mushrooms, steak slices and onion over top; drizzle with dressing.
