Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tarter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • DO NOT ADD TO THE BATTER THE NEXT INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-to roll the balls in
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon-to roll the balls in

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl, cream butter, and sugar. Once fluffy, add in eggs one at a time until thoroughly mixed.

  • Step 2: Sift dry ingredients together, and stir into wet ingredients.

  • Step 3: Mix the last 2 ingredients together in a small dish.

  • Step 4: Roll the batter into balls, the size of walnuts.

  • Step 5: Roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar.

  • Step 6: Bake at 400 degrees on a lightly greased cookie sheet, 2 inches a part for 8-10 minutes. Bake until lightly browned but still soft.

  • Step 7: (these cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.)
