Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce, chopped (or 1 romaine heart, chopped)
  • 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (6 1/2 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 medium red ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1(2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe black or green olives, drained
  • 1/4 pound deli ham, chopped into cubes (purchase a whole block, not sliced)
  • 4 to 6 thin slices hard Italian salami, chopped
  • 5 to 6 slices hard Italian pepperoni, chopped
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese, chopped (use as much as you want)

  • Fresh grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare the salad dressing and chill for a few hours.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl combine the lettuce with next 9 ingredients (you can refrigerate for a few hours while the dressing is chilling). Pour desired amount of dressing over; toss to coat. Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese. Allow to sit for 20 minutes at room temperature before serving.
