Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds prepared mini meatballs (Costco sells them or make your own)
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
  • Hot sauce, to you taste (use only a small amount or use as much as you want, for kids leave it out)
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown cooked or uncooked meatballs in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat (uncooked meatballs do not have to be completely cooked they will finish cooking in sauce).

  • Step 2: In a bowl whisk or stir together ketchup and next 4 ingredients. Pour over meatballs. Bring to a medium simmer, reduce heat to low and simmer 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally (don't taste the sauce right away it will have a strong vinegar taste!). At the end of cooking season sauce wityh salt and pepper if you like.
