Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (1 pound) package Italian Sausage links, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1 (1 pound) package cabbage slaw mix (cabbage and carrots in bag)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into 1" cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped fine

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large saucepan, melt butter and oil. Add onions and peppers and saute till onions are translucent.

  • Step 2: Add sausage pieces and saute till browned.

  • Step 3: Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well, cover and cook on medium-low till potatoes are fork-tender but not mushy. By this time, the sausage will be cooked through also. Enjoy with a crusty piece of bread.
