Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can fruit cocktail
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese (very soft cream cheese)
  • 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip topping, thawed
  • 3 (3 ounce) package Jello gelatin (strawberry banana flavor)
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows (or use what you want)
  • Chopped fresh fruit (bananas, grapes, strawberries) (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Open and drain all canned fruit. If also using fresh fruit, chop and set aside in a bowl. Soften cream cheese in a large bowl.

  • Step 2: Mix Cool Whip and dry Jell-O powder) with the cream cheese. Make sure that all of the sugar/powder from the Jell-O is dissolved. Finally, add the marshmallows and canned/fresh fruit.

  • Step 3: This may be served immediately, but chilling the fruit salad for 30 minutes to an hour before serving is best.
