Step 1: In a small bowl combine 1/2 cup peanut butter with soft butter, confectioners sugar and salt; mix until smooth; set aside.
Step 2: In a microwave-safe bowl melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips, chocolate bars and the remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter; stirring once or twice to stir until smooth.
Step 3: Drop teaspoonfuls of the chocolate mixture into a paper-lined miniature muffin tins.
Step 4: Top each with a scant teaspoonful of the peanut butter mixture; top with another teaspoonful of chocolate mixture.
Step 5: Refrigerate until firm.
