Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (8-ounce) boneless ribeye steaks, or boneless steaks of choice
  • Seasoned salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 ounces button mushrooms, sliced
  • 5 cups baby spinach leaves or mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing, or to taste
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese or blue cheese, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare and preheat grill or grill pan. Sprinkle steaks with seasoned salt and pepper. Place on grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side turning once, until desired doneness. Remove from grill, cover, and let stand 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, prepare mushrooms. Combine with spinach or salad greens, tomatoes and onions in large bowl. Add half of the vinaigrette and toss to coat.

  • Step 3: Slice steak against the grain and place on top of salad. Sprinkle with blue cheese, if using, and serve immediately with remaining dressing.
