Step 1: In a bowl whisk the chicken broth with cornstarch until smooth.
Step 2: Add in honey, soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar; whisk vigorously until well blended and smooth
Step 3: In a medium saucepan heat oil over medium heat; add in garlic and cayenne (if using) cook stirring for about 2 minutes or until the garlic is softened, careful not to brown the garlic.
Step 4: Add in the cornstarch mixture; bring to a simmer mixing constantly until thickened and at a light simmer (about 3 minutes).
