Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 cups dry macaroni pasta
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter (or margarine, cut into small cubes)
  • 6 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta according to box directions, then drain well.

  • Step 2: Mix all the dry ingredients together, and set aside.

  • Step 3: Spray a 9x13 inch casserole dish or pan with cooking spray.

  • Step 4: Spoon half the macaroni into the pan.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle half the flour mixture over top of the macaroni, and top with half of the margarine cubes.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle half the cheese over the top, then repeat another layer using up the rest of the ingredients, except the milk.

  • Step 7: Pour the milk over all.

  • Step 8: Cover with aluminum foil.

  • Step 9: Bake at 350 for 35 minutes, then remove foil, and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
