We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak the cedar planks completely in water for 1 hour in water or even more Soak longer if you have time.

  • Step 2: While your planks are soaking make the marinade by mixing the oil with the next 7 ingredients in a large glass bowl. Add the salmon into the marinade, turn a few times to coat in the marinade. Refrigerate 3-4 hours turning the fillets in the marinade frequently.

  • Step 3: Preheat your outdoor grill for medium heat. Place the planks on the grill grate, then give a few minutes when your boards start to smoke and crackle then you are ready to gill.

  • Step 4: Remove the salmon from the marinade then place onto the hot planks (discard the marinade). Cover and grill for about 18-20 minutes. Fish is done when you can just flake it with a fork (remember the fish will still continue to cook even after you remove it from the grill overcooked fish is dry so don't over cook it!)
