Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (you can use a lower fat version if you want)
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar (dark brown tastes better than light brown, if you have it)
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract (best to use real vanilla if possible)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional; I like peanuts)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add the cream cheese to a small bowl and microwave 20-30 seconds on medium heat until softened. Add the sugars, vanilla and mix well. Microwave another minute on medium high heat - stir - return to the microwave for another 30 seconds until everything is combined and the sugars are melted and combined. Times can vary depending on the type of microwave. This can also be done on the stove top.

  • Step 2: Serve ... I like to top or garnish with the nuts rather than mixing them in, but either way works well. I have found, that if the dips sits for more than a day or two in the refrigerator, the nuts can get soft; so I prefer to sprinkle them on top when I serve the dip. Serve warm or cold and ENJOY!
