Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, plus more to taste
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup flat leaf parsley leaves
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a food processor, combine the beans, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Pulse on and off until the mixture is coarsely chopped.

  • Step 3: With the machine running, gradually add the 1/3 cup olive oil until the mixture is creamy. (You may not need all the oil)

  • Step 4: Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 5: Transfer to serving bowl and serve with dried pita wedges.
