Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line muffin tins with cupcake papers or grease the tins.
Step 2: Sift the flour with the baking powder and baking soda. Set aside. Process the bananas with the sour cream until smooth. Set aside.
Step 3: Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat until well incorporated. Add the sifted dry ingredients in 3 additions, alternately with the banana mixture in two additions, beating only until blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 4: Fill each cup about 3/4 of the way with batter and bake at 350 degrees for 22-25 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from tins.
