Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 packages (10 ounce) frozen asparagus (cut, thawed)
  • 1 pound cooked ham (chopped)
  • 3 cups shredded Swiss cheese (or mozzarella cheese, divided, use 1 cup for the top)
  • 1 small chopped yellow onion
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix (I use Bisquick baking mix)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt (or you can use to taste)
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper (or you can use to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a greased 13x9 baking pan layer the asparagus, ham, 2 cups cheese and onion. In a bowl, beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  • Step 2: Pour mixture into dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean (it's important not to over bake this just bake until set).

  • Step 3: After baking IMMEDIATELY TURN OFF the stove heat. Immediately spread 1 cup shredded cheese on top then place back in the (no heat) oven until cheese is melted.
