Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups Bisquick (or any baking mix)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup pepperoni, diced (about 3 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 cup Italian cheese blend (I use one from Sargento cheese; usually a blend of monterey jack, sharp cheddar, pepperjack or provolong - but use your favorite)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Topping: --- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
  • Sauce: --- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce, heated
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Biscuits ... Mix all the ingredients (except the pepperoni) together in a bowl. The batter should be stiff, but if it is a bit too dry, add another tablespoon of milk. Fold in the pepperoni and mix to combine. Again, this should be a "stiff" "thick" batter. You are making drop biscuits.

  • Step 2: Bake ... Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and add spoonfuls of the batter. They will "puff-up" a bit, but you still want them bite size. Make sure to leave room between each biscuit. Top each biscuit with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

  • Step 3: Serve ... Heat the marinara sauce and serve a bowl for dipping. ENJOY!
