Step 1: Preheat oven to 325F; heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2: Brown pork chops on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
Step 3: Mix 1 can of the soup with the rice; spread into the bottom of a shallow baking dish.
Step 4: Place pork chops on top of rice; top each with one slice onion and one slice lemon, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Spoon second can of soup over chops.
Step 6: Bake, covered, at 325F for one hour.
