Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pork loin chops, boneless or bone-in, your choice
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1 Tablespoon sweet and hot deli mustard (or Dijon or other prepared)
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons dark brown sugar
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400. Brown/sear chops in 1 tablespoon olive oil. Transfer to plate and keep warm.

  • Step 2: Deglaze the pan with the apple juice, scraping up the brown bits. (And this time I used a stainless steel skillet, so I could actually do that!!!) Bring the apple juice to a boil and then stir in the other ingredients. (Depending on the mustard you use, you may wish to add some hot sauce to taste.) Continue to cook for about 2 minutes and then return chops to the skillet.

  • Step 3: Finish the chops in the oven for about 8-10 more minutes. The sauce will reduce and thicken. Watch that it doesn't burn, and add more liquid if necessary. Baste occasionally to glaze the meat. Let the meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
