The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds asparagus (trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (seasoned salt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dried dill weed
  • Parmesan cheese (to serve)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring two large pots of lightly salted water to a boil.

  • Step 2: To one pot, add pasta and cook 10 minutes or until desired tenderness.

  • Step 3: To second pot, add asparagus pieces and cook 8-10 minutes or until tender.

  • Step 4: Drain asparagus and pasta into separate colanders; melt butter in one of the pans.

  • Step 5: Add asparagus, seasoned salt, pepper and dill to melted butter; cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes.

  • Step 6: Pour asparagus mixture over pasta and mix well to combine.

  • Step 7: Serve sprinkled with shredded or grated Parmesan.
