Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound tomatillos, husks removed, rinsed and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lime, zest removed and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • Kosher salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan over medium high heat add all the ingredients (tomatillos - salt) and bring to a simmer; cook, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.

  • Step 2: Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking until mixture thickens (15 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool.

  • Step 3: Pour jam into glass jar and seal and then refrigerate.
