Step 1: In a large bowl, combine apples, pineapple, celery and mayonnaise.
Step 2: Toss lightly to coat evenly.
Step 3: Place whipping cream in a small chilled bowl.
Step 4: Using chilled beaters, beat whipping cream at high speed on electric mixer just until stiff peaks form. Do not overbeat.
Step 5: Blend in sugar, salt and vanilla.
Step 6: Fold into apple mixture.
Step 7: Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Step 8: Garnish with walnuts.
