  • 1/4 cup onions, minced

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 15 ounces tomatoes diced (1 can)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion flakes, dried
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • Topping
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, brown ground beef and onions, season lightly, drain if needed.

  • Step 4: Add tomato paste and don't burn.

  • Step 5: Add chili powder and paprika to taste, beef broth and rest of seasonings.

  • Step 6: Add tomatoes and simmer until macaroni is done, drain, and add to sauce.

  • Step 7: Pour into pam sprayed casserole dish.

  • Step 8: Top with cheese, cover and bake for 30 minutes.
