  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Vegetables
  • 6 beets
  • 28 ounces whole tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1 cup cabbage, chopped
  • White Sauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons dill weed, fresh, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook soup ingredients for 2 hours until tender.

  • Step 2: Add veggies and cook until tender about 1 hour.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, in double boiler whisk milk, flour and egg together cooking until thickened.

  • Step 4: Temper in sour cream.

  • Step 5: Then temper in soup and add white sauce to soup.

  • Step 6: Season to taste.

  • Step 7: Add dill.
