Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces macaroni, dry, creamettes (1 box)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 15 ounces cream style corn (1 can)
  • 4 tablespoons green pepper, minced
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 10 ounces cream of tomato soup (1 can)
  • 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced, undrained (1 can)
  • 1/3 cups catsup

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: Cook macaroni in heavily salted boiling water until al dente and drain.

  • Step 3: Set aside.

  • Step 4: Brown meat and onion and lightly season.

  • Step 5: Layer 1/2 of the macaroni in the bottom of a 2 quart greased casserole.

  • Step 6: Place meat on top.

  • Step 7: Add mushrooms and catsup.

  • Step 8: Pour 1/2 of the corn on the meat.

  • Step 9: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons green pepper and 1/2 of the cheese on top.

  • Step 10: Repeat.

  • Step 11: Pour tomato soup on top, and top with cheese.

  • Step 12: Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
