Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Walnuts
  • 1 cup walnut halves
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Vegetables
  • 2 cups napa cabbage, shredded
  • 3 celery stalks, julienned
  • 1 cup onions, julienned
  • Canned Vegetables
  • 6 ounces water chestnuts, drained, julienne (1 can)
  • 8 ounces bamboo shoots, drained (1 can)
  • Sauce
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless skinless, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons peanut oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix sauce ingredients together and marinate chicken for 10 minutes in ziplock bag.

  • Step 2: Heat walnuts in water and boil for 2 minutes and drain.

  • Step 3: Heat 3 tablespoons oil in wok.

  • Step 4: Stir fry veggies until crisp.

  • Step 5: Add walnuts and canned veggies and remove from wok.

  • Step 6: Add rest of oil.

  • Step 7: Add chicken without sauce and brown.

  • Step 8: Add veggies and sauce back in.

  • Step 9: Cook until thickened.
