Step 2: Meanwhile, in large frying pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add chopped garlic and onion; cook 5-8 minute until softened.
Step 3: Add broth and wine to pan; bring to a boil, stirring until thoroughly mixed and heated. Add broccoli; cook 5 minutes. Add 1/4 cup parmesan and cooked linguine; toss until coated with sauce. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Step 4: Sere topped with remaining 1/4 cup parmesan. Refrigerate any leftovers.
