Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces linguine, dry
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 2-4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup chardonnay wine
  • 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded and divided

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook linguine according to package directions, adding garlic salt and oil to boiling water. Drain and set aside.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, in large frying pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add chopped garlic and onion; cook 5-8 minute until softened.

  • Step 3: Add broth and wine to pan; bring to a boil, stirring until thoroughly mixed and heated. Add broccoli; cook 5 minutes. Add 1/4 cup parmesan and cooked linguine; toss until coated with sauce. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  • Step 4: Sere topped with remaining 1/4 cup parmesan. Refrigerate any leftovers.
