Step 1: Add potatoes to medium pot with enough water to cover potatoes by about 1/2 inch.
Step 2: Bring to a boil on medium-high heat until potatoes start to become tender .
Step 3: Add shrimp and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until potatoes are fully cooked.
Step 4: Remove from heat and drain well.
Step 5: Place in refrigerator to help cool potatoes for about 30 minutes.
Step 6: Remove from refrigerator and place potatoes and shrimp in a bowl and toss.
Step 7: Add eggs, celery, green and red bell pepper, black pepper, gherkins, garlic powder and paprika.
Step 8: Toss together, then add mayonnaise and combine mixture well.
Step 9: Add more mayonnaise if needed.
