Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Chicken Stock
  • 3 pounds chicken, whole
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
  • 6 cups water
  • 3rd Layer
  • 6 ounces stovetop cornbread stuffing mix (1box)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth (from boiled chicken)
  • 2nd layer
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 10 ounces cream of celery soup (1 can)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil chicken for 60 minutes.

  • Step 2: Debone and de-skin chicken, save remaining broth for soup.

  • Step 3: First Layer: Place fine cut chicken in bottom of greased 9x13 baking dish.

  • Step 4: Second Layer: Place celery soup and sour cream together.

  • Step 5: Third Layer: Prepare stovetop stuffing as instructed except change water to 2 cups of broth.

  • Step 6: Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
