Step 1: Place a large cast-iron skillet in the oven. Preheat the oven to 400º.
Step 2: Combine the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Place the crust on the preheated cast iron pan.
Step 3: Bake in the center of the oven at 400º for 12 minutes or until the crust is crisp.
Step 4: Place the crust on a cutting board. Sprinkle evenly with chives and pepper. Cut into 16 pieces. Serve warm or at room temperature.
