Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon pecorino Romano cheese, fresh, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon rind, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 10.5 ounces whole wheat pizza crust, such as Stonefire (1)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives, fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place a large cast-iron skillet in the oven. Preheat the oven to 400º.

  • Step 2: Combine the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Place the crust on the preheated cast iron pan.

  • Step 3: Bake in the center of the oven at 400º for 12 minutes or until the crust is crisp.

  • Step 4: Place the crust on a cutting board. Sprinkle evenly with chives and pepper. Cut into 16 pieces. Serve warm or at room temperature.
