Step 1: Puree Hatch green chiles, jalapenos and juice (in blender or with hand-held immersion blender)
Step 2: Combine refried beans, cream cheese, half of cheddar cheese and sour cream
Step 3: Add chile powder and pureed chile mixture.
Step 4: Pour into an 8x8 baking dish (or equivalent)
Step 5: Top with remaining cheese.
Step 6: Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes.
Step 7: Garnish with chopped green onions, avocado, cilantro and/or a squeeze of lime juice.
