Step 1: Heat water to a boil and whisk in cornmeal.
Step 2: Lower heat and cook to a mush.
Step 3: Add eggs (temper them) and remove from heat at once, stirring well.
Step 4: Add remaining ingredients.
Step 5: Stir for three minutes.
Step 6: Grease a two-quart casserole.
Step 7: Load batter and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees or until top slightly browns and bread sets up.
