Step 1: Boil the noodles in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain.
Step 2: While waiting for the water to boil, prepare the sauce.
Step 3: In a small bowl stir together the brown sugar, (some folks add less) soy sauce and sriracha.
Step 4: In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat.
Step 5: Add the red pepper flakes to the butter as it melts. Whisk an egg in a bowl and then add to the melted butter.
Step 6: Stir gently and cook through. Once the egg is done cooking, turn off the heat.
Step 7: When the noodles are tender, drain the water and then add them to the skillet with the cooked egg. Then add the prepared brown sugar/sauce.
Step 8: Turn the heat down low to evaporate excess moisture and stir until everything is coated well with the sauce.
Step 9: Sprinkle the sliced green onion and cilantro leaves on top and serve immediately.
